It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:
Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang. :D
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

So... I've been away for awhile. I will normally post stuff more often than I have been but I've been busy getting my other account set up. It's an account just for my polymer clay creations since I didn't want this gallery to be completely all over the place with stuff.

So if you like my clay stuff head on over here ~> :icondelicioustrickery:  As it has a lot more goodies and all future updates will be posted there and not here. (well, I still may upload my favourites here ;))

I've also been taking a one on one drawing class so a lot of what I'm doing right now is exercises, stuff that wouldn't be very fun for you to look at, but hopefully by the end I will have improved! I already think I have made some progress, so Yay! ;P

As always, constructive criticisms are welcome, and uh, that's all from me!
